Cosmetic Bags Shaped by What They Hold

  • Our standard MOQ is 500 pieces, with the design and color breakdown confirmed in your quotation.
  • Shapes range from flat makeup pouches to gusseted bags, boxy toiletry bags, and elongated tool pouches.
  • Printed artwork, embroidery, and brand labels can coordinate with the bag, lining, and trim colors.
  • Cotton, cotton canvas, and polyester offer different textures and fabric weights, with a lining available for the design.
  • OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and GRS scope must be checked against the selected materials and order.

Cosmetic Bag Development and Production

A slim makeup pouch, a toiletry bag, and a brush case need different layouts. We help you turn the contents and presentation you have in mind into a sample for approval.

1. Layout Around Your Products

We size the bag and its opening around the complete items in their packed position, including caps, pumps, and long brushes.

2. Sewing and Assembly

We cut, sew, assemble, check, and pack cosmetic bags in our factory. Printing and embroidery are handled by partner factories.

3. Physical Samples

A physical sample lets you assess product fit, zipper access, lining, and appearance before approving bulk production.

4. Brand Coordination

The seams, zipper, and panel shape define the area available for artwork. We develop logo, label, and hang-tag placement with the chosen fabric and presentation.

5. Checks Against Requirements

Checks cover raw materials, cut pieces, semi-finished work, and finished bags, using the approved sample and agreed specifications.

6. Production Communication

Production photos, videos, video tours, and visits can be arranged. We also coordinate packing and shipment requirements for your order.

Cosmetic Bag Shapes for Your Collection

A slim pouch, gusseted bag, boxy toiletry bag, and longer tool pouch each offer a different layout. These designs can be adapted to the products and presentation you have in mind.

Shapes and Sizes for Makeup, Toiletries, and Tools

These adjustable starting sizes are external dimensions of empty bags: W is left to right, H is bottom to top, and D is front to back. Flat pouches are measured laid flat; shaped bags are opened out without filling or stretching them. Usable interior space is smaller.

  • Flat Makeup Pouch
A suggested W23 × H14 cm (about 9.1 × 5.5 in), with no gusset, creates a slim format for a small selection of flatter makeup items. Their combined thickness still needs room within the flat body.
  • Gusseted Makeup Bag
At a suggested W23 × H14 × D6.5 cm (about 9.1 × 5.5 × 2.6 in), the base depth provides room to arrange bottles and compact cases side by side. The final fit depends on the actual products and sample.
  • Boxy Toiletry Bag
A suggested W21 × H13 × D11 cm (about 8.3 × 5.1 × 4.3 in) gives the boxy bag a deeper layout for a toiletry assortment. A sample shows how the actual containers sit within that space.
  • Brush and Tool Pouch
The suggested W25 × H10 × D5 cm (about 9.8 × 3.9 × 2.0 in) creates a lengthwise layout for brushes and tools. The longest item and the usable zipper opening guide the final dimensions.

Outer Fabrics and Lined Interiors

The outer fabric provides texture and appearance; the lining forms the inner surface. Both layers affect how the bag can be cleaned.

  • Cotton and Cotton Canvas
Cotton weaves and canvas weights give the bag different textures and structure. A small promotional pouch and a shaped retail bag may use different fabric thicknesses.
  • Polyester Options
Polyester fabrics come in different weights and surface finishes.
  • Separate Lining
An optional sewn lining gives the interior its own fabric and color and can include internal pockets.
  • Cleaning Requirements
Bottled products and the intended cleaning method influence the shell, lining, and seam specification. Washability, stain resistance, or liquid resistance requires assessment of the finished construction rather than the fabric alone.

Zipper Access and Interior Layout

The zipper opening affects how products enter the bag, while pockets determine where smaller items sit. Together, they shape how easily the contents can be found and reached.

  • Top Zipper
A zipper along the top edge creates one main opening. Its usable length can be shorter than the bag's outer width, which matters for wider items in a flat pouch.
  • Extended Zipper Opening
A zipper that extends around the upper edges exposes more of a boxy bag's interior. The path around the corners is developed with the bottle or case sizes that need to pass through it.
  • Open Inner Pocket
An internal slip pocket separates smaller items from the main compartment. Its width and height follow the item it holds, rather than the overall bag dimensions.
  • Divided Tool Spaces
Divided pockets give brushes or other slim tools individual spaces, with the width and depth sized for each tool.

Branding on the Finished Bag

Seams, zippers, and pocket construction define the space available for printed or embroidered artwork on the finished panels.

  • Screen-Printed Logos
A screen-printed logo identifies a retail or promotional pouch on its outer panel. The artwork size and colors are developed with the selected fabric surface.
  • Heat-Transfer Artwork
Heat transfer offers an option for detailed or multicolor artwork on compatible fabrics. A trial print shows its color, detail, and feel before the method is approved.
  • Embroidery
Embroidery gives suitable outer fabrics a raised, textured logo. Fine details and backing are developed alongside the lining and panel construction.
  • Brand and Care Labels
A sewn brand label or hang tag identifies the product range. Care labels carry instructions based on the agreed materials and verified care requirements.

Packing for Retail and Delivery

Empty cosmetic bags can be presented individually or grouped for receiving and distribution. The packing arrangement reflects the retail format and delivery needs of the order.

  • Individual Bags
An individual packing bag separates each cosmetic bag within the shipment. Its material and size follow whether the bag is packed flat or in its shaped form.
  • Inner Packing
Inner packs group the bags by the agreed style or color breakdown, with a set quantity in each pack for receiving.
  • Brand Inserts and Tags
A brand insert or hang tag adds information to the retail presentation. It can be included inside the cosmetic bag or within its individual packing, according to the agreed artwork and placement.
  • Outer Cartons
Outer-carton quantities and shipping marks support distribution. The carton arrangement depends on the finished bag dimensions and whether the bags are packed flat or shaped.

Material and Care Specifications

The shell, lining, trims, and care method form one specification for the finished bag. Relevant material documents are matched to the selected materials and order.

Care requirements apply to the complete bag, including its shell, lining, seams, and pockets. We assess them on the sewn sample.

Check the Applicable Scope

Relevant topics include ISO 9001 quality management, amfori BSCI social audits, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, and GRS. Check the holder, dates, and material or product scope for the order; REACH and PPWR are regulatory requirements, not product certifications.
